The American Meat Science Association (AMSA) is hosting a webinar August 10, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CDT, to examine the current science on meat's role in health. The webinar, presented by Shalene McNeill, Ph.D., executive director of human nutrition research for the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, will discuss the benefits and risks of meat in the diet, and will share insights about current consumer thinking about healthy eating.
