Plantarium 2012: Slightly Less Visitors, Great Novelties

The renowned Plantarium 2012 tree nursery trade fair in The Netherlands has drawn slightly less visitors than last time around, which was a record year. The organizers nonetheless consider the event a big success and look forward to next year.

The tree nursery stock trade fair, which ended two days ago, was officially opened by Dutch Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations Liesbeth Spies. The event had ‘Communication’ as its main theme, a topic that appeared in a number of guises.

Various delegations from both the United States and Eastern Europe’s Ukraine attended the trade fair. A representative of the Israeli Agriculture Council, Dikla Dabby-Nador, also graced the fair with his presence on Thursday, citing the presence of 7 horticulture companies from Israel as the reason for his visit.
