Hilverda de Boer, one of the largest cut flower exporters in the Netherlands, is planning to organize an excursion to a number of first-rate greenhouses during Holland Flower Week. The field trip will be open to any professionals involved in the floristry sector, including wholesalers.

The visit is primarily intended to be educational, with attendees learning all about the new varieties of roses and cymbidiums (boat orchids) that the greenhouses work with. Professional growers from Porta Nova and Special Orchids will be at hand to explain about the care, handling and growing techniques involved.

The date of the field trip is November 4th, with the time scheduled for it being from 12:00 to 17:00. Those wishing to attend should contact Willem van Klaveren at Hilverda De Boer on w.van.klaveren@hilverdadeboer.nl, or call +31 297 332 503 to make a reservation.
