Ed de Groot Bloemenexport will soon be integrating its activities in the organisation of Hamifleurs. Since August 2011, Ed de Groot has been a part of Dutch Flower Group and is, just like Hamifleurs, located at the Trade Parc Westland in Honselersdijk, in the business park of 'Jupiter'.
Both flower export companies have decided to combine their handling activities and logistics processes, and to extensively integrate their organisations. This will lead to improved operational excellence as well as ensure an increase in their commercial strenghts in the near future.
After the integration, which has been scheduled for completion after the summer period, the "Ed de Groot Bloemenexport" commercial label will continue to exist and the integrated company will proceed under the management of the current Board of Hamifleurs, consisting of Cor van Staalduinen (Managing Director) and Edwin Beekman (Financial Director). Together with his team, Ed de Groot will remain responsible for the commercial activities of the "Ed de Groot Bloemenexport" label.
With this integration, Hamifleurs and Ed de Groot Bloemenexport expect to be able to provide their international clients with further improvements to their level of service and to realise increased flexibility within their assortment of cut flowers.
