A study conducted by Dr. Tracy Irani (University of Florida), with graduate students Lauri M. Baker and Katie Abrams on "Building the Capacity of the 21st Century Floriculture Industry: Assessing Ways to Impact Career Choice and Enhance Post Secondary Education" is now available.
The purposed of this AFE funded study was to conduct research to determine the best approaches to recruit students into the floriculture industry, and to gain knowledge in an effort to develop an eduacational marketing campaign to address the industry needs of workforce development. A follow up study is currently being conducted.
