TORONTO — Bloomex Canada is very pleased to announce its extended partnership with Make-A-Wish® Canada to help create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
As part of its ongoing support, Bloomex will continue its offering of the “I Care” Teddy Bear available on Bloomex.ca and will continue to donate $5 from the sale of each bear to Make-A-Wish Canada. A donation at checkout will be offered this December, where customers can opt to donate an additional $2 at checkout.
Customers can also lend their support by purchasing any of 4 special holiday gift baskets available at Bloomex.ca. Each basket includes an “I Care” Teddy Bear. Fifteen percent of purchase price plus $5 per basket will be donated to Make-A-Wish Canada to help grant transformational wishes to children across the country.
“We are very happy to continue our support for Make-A-Wish Canada,” says Mark Camphaug, Director of Marketing at Bloomex. “These kids and their families face so many challenges as they deal with critical illnesses. Every wish granted provides a much-needed boost to morale and some relief from day-to-day pressures.”
“Wishes help children look past their limitations, families overcome anxiety and entire communities experience joy,” says Chris Pon, vice-president, national corporate alliances, Make-A-Wish Canada. “Most importantly, wishes can improve a child’s quality of life, giving them a better chance of recovering. We thank Bloomex and its customers for their ongoing support of our mission and for helping us move one step closer to achieving our goal of granting the wish of every eligible child in Canada.”

About Make-A-Wish Canada
Make-A-Wish® creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child’s wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child’s treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Make-A-Wish is the world’s leading children’s wish-granting organization, serving children in every community in Canada, and in more than 50 countries worldwide. Together, generous donors, supporters, staff and more than 1,100 volunteers across the country grant more than one wish per day, on average. Since 1983, Make-A-Wish Canada has granted more than 8,000 wishes across the country; 655 last year alone. For more information about Make-A-Wish Canada, visit makeawish.ca.
