AmericanHort’s Financial Benchmarking Study is Underway

The 2026 AmericanHort Financial Benchmarking Study is open.

The 2026 AmericanHort Salary & Benefits Benchmarking Study gives members industry-specific data to inform their business decisions and ensure they are attracting and retaining high-quality employees.

Participants receive a comprehensive report that includes expert analysis of compensation, staffing and industry benefit trends, including detailed statistics on salaries and benefits for executive-level positions.

Open to members and non-members, this survey will take approximately 25 minutes for first-time participants. By investing a little time this year, subsequent surveys will be even easier and will continue to provide you with actionable data.

By completing the AmericanHort Salary and Benefits Benchmark Survey participants will:

• Obtain a Full Industry Report: This comprehensive report includes expert analysis of compensation, staffing and industry benefit trends, including detailed statistics on salaries and benefits for executive-level positions.
• Gain Stronger Hiring & Retention Strategies: Use the comprehensive insights provided to help create successful hiring strategies to retain and attract qualified candidates—critical in today’s competitive labor market.
• Develop Improved Planning & Budgeting: Benchmarking drives business decisions and strategy. Knowing where you stand in the industry can aid you in planning successful business policies and budget development.
• Access to Personalized Company Compensation Comparison Report: Free to eligible AmericanHort Premium members who complete the survey, this report helps businesses to understand where wages and benefits are competitive and where adjustments can be made to attract and retain the top performers. This report can be purchased for $899 by all eligible AmericanHort members who complete the survey, but it is NOT available to non-members.

Survey responses are collected confidentially and analyzed solely by Industry Insights on behalf of AmericanHort and grower publications. Benchmark data is reported only in aggregate, ensuring privacy is protected.
