DES PLAINES, Ill. — Ambius, the global interior landscaping leader and part of the Rentokil family of companies, was honored with 12 awards at the Plantscape Industry Alliance (PIA) Hall of Fame and Awards Celebration at the Plantscape Industry Expo, Aug. 13-15, 2013 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev. These awards recognize the company’s commitment to customer excellence, innovation and professionalism in the interior plantscaping industry.
The awards recognized the Ambius designers and sales consultants for their unique designs, including: a living green wall on a two-story cruise ship that utilized bamboo, palm trees and tall grasses; a 2,400-square-foot concrete patio deck in an office building providing a tropical respite with silk and replica foliage plants, and a holiday display in a commercial building complete with 1,000 origami paper cranes and stars surrounded by birch branches, potted redwoods and Japanese wrapping papers.
“It is a true honor for our Ambius designers to have been selected for these awards by such a prestigious organization as the Plantscape Industry Alliance,” said John Myers, president and CEO of Rentokil North America. “These awards recognize the hard work and dedication of our designers who are focused on advancing our customers interior environment through design, innovation and outstanding horticultural work.”
