Somerdale Strengthens U.S. Team with Senior Appointment

Somerdale International is delighted to announce that it has appointed Mike Hatch as its new West Coast Sales Manager. This senior level appointment comes at an exciting time of growth and development for Somerdale as it seeks to reinforce its position as the No.1 specialist importer of British & Irish cheese into the United States.
Prior to joining Somerdale, Mike spent 20 years working at Champignon NA Inc most recently as Vice President of Sales. During this time he played a key role in developing the market for a range of imported European cheeses which today is one of the USA’s largest specialty food categories.
Commenting on Mike Hatch’s appointment, Alan Jenkins, Director of Somerdale International said, “Mike has had an esteemed and highly successful career in the specialty cheese industry and has played a key role in the sustained growth of European cheese sales in the USA. His insight and experience in the retail and food service sectors will be invaluable to Somerdale as we focus on growing our position as the No.1 Specialist in British & Irish cheese.”

Alan, Mike and the whole Somerdale USA sales team will be showcasing and sampling Somerdale’s range of classic and contemporary cheeses at IDDBA (Booth #3861) in Orlando Florida 7- 9th June and the Summer Fancy Food Show (Booth #138) in New York ,28-30 June.
