LIVINGSTON — U.S. Senator Charles Schumer stopped by Hudson Valley Creamery, LLC on Monday to take a tour of the goat cheese production facilities with Assemblywoman Didi Barrett, D-106.
In an effort to promote one of the fastest growing goat cheese makers in the Hudson Valley, Schumer, D-NY, was shown how the creamery is run and given an update on how owners intend to move forward with plans to create a large-scale goat farm.
The creamery is a production company of Couturier, a U.S. subsidiary of Groupe Eurial. The France-based company is one of the world’s leaders in the goat cheese market.
