We cannot tell you how many times we have heard “when I was in Europe, I had the most amazing cheese.” What we love is to be able to show that person the same cheese right here at Zabar’s in New York City! We are very proud to bring as many cheeses we can from the “old world” and what makes these cheeses so great is their consistently high quality, flavor and appearance. Not only that, they are entrenched in history and tradition that has allowed them to stay the same no matter what is going on around them. They command respect and we are more than happy to give it to them. So in their honor and to all our customers who have come to us looking for a bit of the “old world” flavors they tasted abroad, we have selected four great cheeses that we think personify the diverse and delicious cheeses that Europe is known for.
