Holland's Family Cheese Takes Four Awards At 2012 ACS Conference & Competition

THORP, Wis. – Holland's Family Cheese won an array of awards at the American Cheese Society's annual competition in Raleigh, North Carolina over the weekend including first-place honors for Marieke Foenegreek Gouda in the Open Category For All Cheeses With Flavor Added – All Milk Types. This raw, cow's milk beauty is a crowd favorite and boasts a creamy mouthfeel with sweet, maple finishing notes on your palate. In addition to the prize for Foenegreek Gouda, Holland's Family Cheese received the following awards:

• 2nd Place – Dutch Style, All Milk Types:  Marieke Plain Gouda Aged 9 – 12 months
• 3rd Place – Dutch Style, Flavord Added, All Milk Types:  Marieke Cumin Gouda
• 3rd Place – Smoked Cheeses, Open Category, Cow's Milk: Marieke Smoked Gouda

The competition drew 1,711 cheese and dairy product entries from 254 companies.
