Fountain Inn, SC: D&W Fine Pack, now one of the largest food packaging firms in North America after the mergers of Dispoz-o Products, Wilkinson Industries and C&M Fine Pack, announces that it will officially launch a new line of molded fiber products made from sugarcane at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago.
The new line of sugarcane based products will include various sizes of plates, bowls and hinged containers that are designed to complement the existing line of environmentally friendly products that D&W Fine Pack has previously developed. The new sugarcane based products will also be available with poly-lactic acid (PLA) coating that will approve increased moisture and grease resistance for hot foods.
“We’re extremely excited about launching this new product line for many reasons.” Stated Joseph Lancia, President & CEO of D&W Fine Pack. “First, we are committed to offering our customers the best sustainable product choices possible. We know that not every product is going to be suitable for each application, that’s why we are striving to broaden our environmentally friendly product lines. Secondly, though each of our legacy companies have independently developed and brought to market a line of environmentally friendly products, this represents the first of what could be many new introductions by D&W Fine Pack.”
D&W Fine Pack will officially launch the new sugarcane based plates, bowls and hinged containers on Saturday May 22nd at booth number 2859 at the National Restaurant Association Show at the McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
D&W Fine Pack manufactures biodegradable plates, bowls, hinged containers, cutlery and straws under the Enviroware name, PLA or corn based containers and lids under the NaturesPLAstic name and a reduced petroleum footprint line of containers, plates and bowls under the C-Green name as well as a full line of recyclable aluminum products.
