WATERLOO, Wis. — Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese is celebrating a standout performance at the 2026 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Products Contest, earning seven awards across five categories, including a rare “Fresh Sweep” of the Fresh Mozzarella class.

Crave Brothers claimed first, second and third place in the Fresh Mozzarella category, demonstrating the consistency and quality behind one of the farmstead creamery’s signature cheeses. The Waterloo-based cheesemaker also earned first place for its Mascarpone, second place for String Cheese and Chocolate Mascarpone, and third place for Oaxaca.

The World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Products Contest is one of the nation’s premier dairy competitions, providing dairy processors from across the country an opportunity to showcase their products on a national stage. Products are evaluated by industry experts on qualities including flavor, body and texture, appearance and overall quality.

Crave Brothers’ winning cheeses will receive additional recognition during the World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Products Contest Awards and Auction in Madison on September 28. Proceeds from the auction will support scholarships for food and agriculture students at institutions throughout Wisconsin, helping invest in the next generation of leaders in the state’s dairy and food industries.
