Triad Business Journal has learned that Red Clay Gourmet Pimiento Cheese has reached an agreement to lease 21,000 square feet in an industrial warehouse developed by Triad-based Davidson Craven Capital and Skylark Partners of Austin, Texas. The building is at Westpoint Business Park at the corner of Annapolis Drive and Clemmonsville Road in Winston-Salem. Jonathan Smith is the principal of Davidson Craven Capital.
The 115,000-square-foot, Class A warehouse building is scheduled for completion in first quarter 2019.
When the new space is ready, Red Clay will move out of its 4,800-square-foot headquarters and production operation facility on Blue Rock Court, just off U.S. 421. CBRE Triad is the leasing agent.
“The west Winston-Salem industrial submarket is very healthy and has seen no meaningful development of Class A Warehouse space in many years,” said Smith. “We are excited about providing Red Clay a headquarters consistent with the company’s high-quality product line and offering new best-in-class warehouse space to an area that has long served many of the most important businesses in Forsyth County.”
