The results from this year's World Cheese Awards are in! Of the 10 cheeses we entered in this year's contest, 7 took home medals, including a "Super Gold" for Bayley Hazen Blue. This puts Bayley among 62 such winners among over 2700 entries. Bayley Hazen Blue was also dubbed "World's Best Unpasteurized Cheese", a title that we're usually too modest to bestow ourselves, but it sure sounds good coming from a panel of internationally-acclaimed judges. Our winners this year are:

All of our raw milk cheeses, including Bayley Hazen Blue, meet the Slow-Food definition of "raw" as it pertains to cheese, namely that the milk is not heated above cow temperature (about 104°). Our focus has always been on creating the best milk possible to make safe & delicious cheese, raw or pasteurized. This is a proud day for our cheese, our cows, and our team!
