The North Market is getting a new cheese vendor. Black Radish Creamery, currently located in Alexandria, Ohio, will soon occupy the space previously filled by Curds and Whey.
“We are thrilled for this unique opportunity at North Market and look forward to carrying on the legacy of cheese this space has at the market,” said Anne Reese, who co-owns Black Radish Creamery with her husband, John Reese.
The Reeses established the Creamery in 2011. They tout their cheese and award-winning fruit preserves, both of which they’ll be bringing to the North Market in January. In the meantime, the Reeses will operate North Market Cheese on behalf of the Market. After the new year starts, so will a full remodel to transform Curds and Whey into Black Radish Creamery.
