Carey will participate in a panel session titled, “ROI on Proof of Delivery (POD) Systems,” on Monday, October 25, at 3 p.m.
IFDA’s Distribution Solutions Conference is an annual event that showcases the latest trends, products and innovations in foodservice distribution, and advises industry leaders on strategically implementing these solutions.
A frequent speaker and published author with over 13 years of experience in the information technology (IT) and supply chain marketplace, Carey will discuss the benefits of implementing automated POD solutions in the foodservice industry, lessons learned from companies already using a POD solution, and future trends in the technology. Carey will also offer advice for making a change from manual, paper-based delivery operations to fully automated delivery solutions.
Additionally, Barcoding will exhibit its advanced data capture and mobile computing solutions for track and trace in foodservice distribution. Demonstrations will be held throughout the conference at Booth No. 226.
