DENVER, CO – The American Cheese Society (ACS) announced its 2027 Annual Conference will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island, from July 13–16, 2027.

The new dates and location resolve a previous industry scheduling conflict. ACS proactively adjusted its calendar and venue to ensure exhibitors, industry partners, and members can maximize their business opportunities and fully participate in both premier summer events.

“It is especially meaningful to me to welcome the ACS to Providence, Rhode Island,” said Erin Selby, Conference Chair. “This is a place that holds a very personal connection for me—I lived in Rhode Island as a teenager, and Providence was also my very first ACS conference back in 2015. To have the opportunity, more than a decade later, to bring our cheese community back to Rhode Island feels wonderfully full circle. Providence, a city with a rich culinary heritage, a vibrant food culture, and a deep appreciation for local producers and artisans is the perfect homecoming for our next conference!”

While Madison, Wisconsin, was initially announced as the 2027 destination, the host city and venue were extremely accommodating in shifting their schedule to help optimize the broader industry calendar. Thanks to this close partnership, ACS is delighted to announce that Madison will instead serve as the official host city for the 2028 Annual Conference, scheduled for August 1–4, 2028.

Further details will be announced in the coming months, with registration and hotel blocks officially opening in March 2027.
