The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has negotiated a certificate for the export of shell eggs from Poland.
Effective June 10, 2025, the negotiated certificate will become valid and trade can commence as soon as the Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) has been updated. A separate notice will be sent once AIRS is updated.
As set out in the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, importers of shell egg from Poland will need to hold a Safe Food for Canadians licence to import and are responsible for meeting all applicable Canadian requirements.
