LYNNFIELD, Mass. — Milk Life is a proud sponsor of Team USA and on July 25, 2016, Milk Life® and Hood® Milk will host a Family Fun Day at the Greater Springfield YMCA with special guest gymnast and U.S. Olympic gold medalist Tim Daggett. HP Hood, one of the largest branded dairy operators in the U.S., has teamed up with Milk Life to highlight the importance of milk as a part of a daily diet.
"I am honored to be a part of such a meaningful event in my hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts," said Daggett. "Milk has always been a huge part of my nutrition plan as a gymnast and it's incredibly rewarding to promote a healthy lifestyle in our community."
The event, which will run from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., will include indoor and outdoor sports activities for parents and kids, giveaways, and a meet-and-greet with Daggett before he departs for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games as a commentator. A nutritionist will be on-site to discuss the benefits of milk consumption. More than 500 parents and children are expected to attend the event.
