The Mid-Prairie Community School District will continue buying milk from Prairie Farms, turning down a lower bid from Anderson Erickson.
The difference between the two bids was about $500 on a $34,360 contract.
School board member Jim Hussey said the bids were essentially the same because the total contract was based on an estimate of what the district will spend for different types of milk.
