GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – Two regional dairy organizations, Dairy MAX and the Louisiana Dairy Industry Promotion Board, recently confirmed a partnership to jointly engage in dairy promotion.
Beginning in 2019, the dairy farmers of the Louisiana Dairy Industry Promotion Board have chosen Dairy MAX to represent the state’s dairy promotion, research and education programs. The full resources of checkoff, now led by Dairy MAX, are available to Louisiana dairy farmers – from school wellness outreach to health and nutrition information to dairy farmer support through issues and crisis. Dairy MAX now represents more than 900 dairy farmers and serves communities in eight states.
“Promoting dairy produced by the hardworking dairy farmers in our region is a passion for each and every person involved in checkoff,” said Mike Konkle, CEO of Dairy MAX. “The production of dairy products in our states provides an exciting opportunity for the Dairy MAX team to grow trust and sales. We are excited to work together with the dairy farmers in Louisiana to support confidence in dairy foods, explain the research and science of dairy nutrition and provide community education.”
