Lark Fine Foods Cookie Production ‘Snowballing’ For Holidays

An award-winning cookie company that bakes its goodies in Essex has added a treat to its line for the holidays, and two more may be added in the new year.
Lark Fine Foods LLC is making Snowballs for the holidays.
The cookies, in stores now, are buttery balls with lots of pecans dusted with confectioners' sugar. While Lark now calls them Snowballs — the cookies are also known Swedish or Russian Tea Cakes, Viennese Butterballs, Mexican Wedding Cakes and Italian Butter Nuts — co-owner Mary Ann McCormick said.
"If we keep them on, we'll have to change the name from Snowballs," she said. "We've been getting really good feedback on them."
