Juneau Costco Bakery Gets The Boot

Juneau Costco Wholesale customers must say goodbye, farewell and adieu to the massive muffins, ponderous pies and puffy pastries the box store’s bakery once provided. Costco representatives have confirmed that the bakery will be phased out to make room for more popular products.
“There are exciting new products and services coming soon to the Juneau Costco,” Ron Vachris, senior vice president and general manager for Costco Wholesale’s Northwest Region, relayed via email. “We are always looking for ways to better serve our members needs. Examples of this are the selection of certified organic items and gluten free products that we have recently showcased.”
The bakery space will be cleared to make room for additional items the store will offer in Juneau.
