Highly anticipated, limited-edition holiday Kringle available online now through Dec. 31
RACINE, Wis. – O&H Danish Bakery is spreading glad tidings, joy and a little holiday mischief with its newest limited-edition flavor Tipsy Elf Kringle. The seasonal pastry from the world-renowned bakery will be available for two-day nationwide delivery online beginning Nov. 3 through the end of the year.
Tipsy Elf Kringle combines rich cocoa, Irish whisky and a touch of cream in a decadent filling, all nestled inside O&H’s signature flaky pastry. It is finished with a creamy frosting and festive red and green sprinkles, making it a treat that captures the sweet spirit of the holiday season.
“Each year, we’re excited to debut a new Kringle that reflects the holiday traditions that define O&H Danish Bakery. Tipsy Elf Kringle was inspired by the cheeky elves who might be the only ones busier than a baker during the holidays. The combination of cocoa, Irish whisky and cream, is the perfect pick me up for long winter days,” says Peter Olesen, president and fourth generation co-owner of O&H Danish Bakery. “We’re honored to be part of seasonal celebrations and gift giving across the country.”
For even more holiday celebration, the next installment of the Homecoming Series is also available from Nov. 3 through Dec. 31. The “Home for the Holidays” collection brings back two fan-favorite, limited-edition flavors: Apricot Sugar Kringle and Eggnog Kringle.
Apricot Sugar Kringle features a Mediterranean apricot filling topped with coarse sugar and shaved almonds. Eggnog Kringle fills 36 layers of flaky pastry with a smooth, creamy custard made with O&H’s homemade eggnog, finished with a layer of frosting and sprinkled with crisp gingersnap cookie pieces.
The holiday season is the busiest time of the year for the bakery, which produces up to 7,000 Kringle each day in December. Its exceptional pastries are enjoyed by customers around the world, and O&H Kringle has made landfall on all seven continents. Customers can visit any of O&H’s five bakery locations in Southeast Wisconsin to purchase these flavors beginning Dec. 1 or shop online for Kringle, gourmet gift packages and more at www.ohdanishbakery.com
