PORT ORANGE — A national commercial wholesale bakery, whose customers include the Trader Joe's grocery chain, has chosen to open a regional production/distribution center at Port Orange's Eastport Business and Technology Center.
Antonina's Artisan Bakery, a commercial baker that specializes in gluten-free baked-goods, currently has five production/distribution centers throughout the U.S., recently agreed to add a sixth location that will be in Port Orange, said Team Volusia CEO Keith Norden.
The plant, which will initially employ 40 workers, is expected to become operational by year's end, according to Norden.
