Coachella, CA — Prime Time International, based in Southern California's Coachella Valley, is a Bronze Sponsor in the Let’s Move Salad Bars To Schools initiative. The Company recently donated a salad bar to Kamala Elementary part of the Oxnard District School.

Prime Time joins the following organizations; Food Family Farming Foundation, National Fruit and Vegetable Alliance and  United Fresh Produce Association Foundation.  “This donation is the first of a three year commitment which Prime Time has made in the memory of Chuck Hodges, an original founder and owner,” note Mike Aiton, Marketing Director of Prime Time International.

“Your support for the Let’s Move Salad Bars To Schools Foundation has made a huge difference by allowing us to implement a salad bar at a school site within the district,” notes Jeff Chancer, Oxnard’s School District’s Superintendent. “The students have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the salad bar,” he adds.

Let’s Move Salad Bars To Schools is a  comprehensive grass roots national public health effort to significantly increase salad bars in schools across the country until every child has the choice of healthy fruits and vegetables every day at school.

Currently Prime Time has a total over 4,000 acres in production on a year-round basis for a variety of produce including full-size multi-colored peppers, sweet mini peppers, corn and seedless watermelon.  Prime Time distributes its products to more than four hundred customers throughout North America.
