HOUSTON – IFCO Pallet Management Services, the nation’s largest pallet services provider, has pledged its support for employees who serve in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. Officers from the Coast Guard recently visited the company’s Scarborough, Maine, location to present IFCO with a commendation recognizing the organization’s commitment to local guardsmen who work in the local IFCO facility.
“IFCO recognizes that our associates who volunteer their time with the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve are essential to the strength of our nation and the wellbeing of our communities,” said David Russell, President of IFCO Pallet Management Services. “We appreciate their sacrifices and honor their service.”
By receiving this award, IFCO is joining several of the country’s leading organizations that recognize, honor and enforce the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act (USERRA) which protects the jobs of non-full-time military service members who are called to active duty.
