U.S. retail-beef prices fell to $4.669 a pound in April, from a revised record of $4.67 in March, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in a report on its website.

The price was up from $4.444 a year earlier, the USDA’s Economic Research Service said. The price is a composite that includes choice beef and other beef and hamburger values.
