An Egg-cellent Partnership – Nellie's Free Range Eggs Is Now The Official Egg Of The Boston Red Sox

MONROE, N.H. — New England-based Nellie's Free Range Eggs is proud to announce that it has been named the Official Egg of the Boston Red Sox. With the partnership, Nellie's Free Range Eggs will be the only egg used in Fenway Park beginning in 2019, and will also be featured in several new recipes courtesy of Aramark Executive Chef at Fenway Park, Ron Abell (eggs on top of a Fenway Frank, anyone?).

"My family started Nellie's Free Range Eggs over 20 years ago, right from our family farm here in New Hampshire where we continue to be based to this day, so it's safe to say our New England-based brand is very excited by this partnership," said Jesse Laflamme, CEO of Nellie's Free Range Eggs. "The Boston Red Sox are a passionate, talented organization, reflecting many of the same values as our brand. We're looking forward to seeing where this partnership will take us – hopefully, to another World Series!"

Nellie's Free Range Eggs is dedicated to the humane treatment of its Certified Humane® Free Range hens, as well as the farmers who care for them, and is proud to source all of its eggs through its network of more than 125 small family farms, several of which are located in New England.

"We're always looking for opportunities to partner with local brands like Nellie's Free Range Eggs," said Red Sox Executive Vice President Troup Parkinson. "We have some of the most creative chefs in the industry planning the menus at Fenway Park and I know Chef Ron is particularly excited to find new and unique ways to incorporate Nellie's Eggs into our recipes during the 2019 season."

About Nellie's Free Range Eggs

Nellie's Free-Range Eggs' home farm is a fourth-generation family farm in the heart of New Hampshire's Connecticut River Valley. As part of the Pete and Gerry's Egg farming family, we've been brooding over our hens' health and happiness for over 60 years. As the first Certified Humane® egg farm in the country, our free-range eggs are produced without antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, or animal byproducts. We've grown our business differently – not by turning into yet another factory farm, but by recruiting other small family farms to join our flock. We work with folks who believe, like we do, that happy hens lay better eggs. To learn more about Nellie's Free Range Eggs, visit https://nelliesfreerange.com/.
