Five years after its purchase of the Southern Foods distribution center in Bowling Green, Reinhart Foodservice is making plans to expand that facility on Mitch McConnell Way in Warren County's South Industrial Park.
Reinhart was approved June 28 for $600,000 in tax incentives through the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority to help the company add 75,000 square feet to the center and add 50 jobs over a 10-year period.
KEDFA documents said Reinhart is expanding to accommodate a need for more distribution capacity. Those documents indicate the company will add a new refrigeration system, office space and a truck service center.
