Sun World appoints new category director of Mexico grapes & peppers Bakersfield, Calif. – Sun World announced  today the appointment of Rudy Heras to the role of category director of Mexico grapes and peppers. Rudy will also maintain his role as a sales key account executive.

Rudy has been with Sun World for three years and has over 25 years of experience in the produce industry including domestic and export table grape sales.

“Our Mexico growers are key allies in our supply strategy for grapes and peppers,” Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Gordon Robertson said. “Rudy has demonstrated strong business acumen and in-depth knowledge of our markets and categories that will help ensure that we are delivering on both our customers’ and growers’ expectations during the Mexico season.”

Sun World is currently offering blocky bells peppers, the sweet and mild elongated LE ROUGE ROYALE® and LE JAUNE ROYALE® brand peppers and its newest offering Sweet Mini Peppers in both one and two-pound grab & go bags.

Beginning in May, Sun World will have steady volume out of Mexico on SUPERIOR SEEDLESS® brand, MIDNIGHT BEAUTY® brand and Flame Seedless grapes.
