Salem, MA – Foodservice Immersion™ announced a new addition to its popular and innovative series of training programs: Foodservice Distribution Immersion™, starting March 26, 2012, in Boston.
Like its companion program, Foodservice Distribution Immersion™ is a deep-dive into the world of foodservice, now focusing on the complex and confusing world of distribution and the supply chain. The program takes attendees behind the scenes of foodservice distribution with in-depth distributor site visits, frank Q&A sessions, small group break-outs, networking, and topical speakers.
A consolidating supply chain, third-party players such as GPOs, changing distributor go-to-market resource models will all be part of the discussion.
"In our Foodservice Immersion™ programs, we find that visits to distribution centers and discussions with distributor personnel are often the most enlightening part of the program for our students, because these opportunities are limited at best in the day-to-day world of the foodservice marketer. We believe this in-depth program offers a unique opportunity for those managing sales resources, marketers, analysts, and product developers to engage both with the distribution community and with each other to brainstorm great ideas about how to become a more effective trading partner," said Laura MacPhail.
The Director of Foodservice Immersion™, Sandra Winters, can be reached at 978.491.8836 or sandy@fs-immersion.com.
