California Giant Adds Interactive Children's Content To New Site

Watsonville, CA – California Giant Berry Farms, a year-round producer of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, today launched an all new interactive portion of their website geared toward children.

The page, titled “Kids Corner,” features an embedded coloring page application allowing children to color berry characters directly in their browser – no printing or mess required. Children are able to color the berry characters, called the “Freshtastic Four” on both PC and Apple machines. The coloring page is also offered in a printable version for those who would rather use their own coloring supplies. The California Giant “Kids Corner” also features interesting berry facts, links to other berry and fresh produce-related kid’s pages, and ways to connect through social media.

The new children’s content expands on California Giant’s dedication to consumer outreach and arrives just a month after the launch of a totally revamped website aimed to increase consumer enjoyment, knowledge and engagement with the company and its products. The “Kids Corner” page is designed to engage children’s interest in berries in a way that prompts return visits to the site while promoting healthy and fun eating choices.
