Great Lakes Cheese Announces New Leadership For Its Foodservice Business Unit

HIRAM, OHIO – Brad Belanger has been named Director of Foodservice. Brad has been Senior Director Corporate Accounts for Saputo Dairy Foods. He brings broad foodservice experience including national account, broadline and broker management to our foodservice team.

“With the announcement today of Brad’s appointment, we are placing a proven leader in a key role that will enable us to further execute our strategy in the foodservice industry,” said Great Lakes Cheese President and Chief Executive Officer Dan Zagzebski.

The appointment was made concurrent with the announcement that Ned Dorman is retiring from his position as Director of Foodservice, effective August 1, 2018. Dorman’s distinguished career at Great Lakes Cheese spans 22 years and led to the collaborative and comprehensive foodservice program that customers enjoy today.

“Ned’s stellar leadership has driven unprecedented momentum at Great Lakes Cheese. He brought exceptional knowledge of the foodservice segment to the company and a keen sense of business know-how,” said Zagzebski. “We salute Ned for his dedication to the foodservice industry. We will miss his passion, candor and insight.”

As part of Great Lakes Cheese’s continued commitment to the foodservice business, the company will be moving all foodservice functions to the corporate office in Hiram, Ohio. Ned will continue as a consultant to the company and will work with Brad to ensure a seamless transition.
