Only A 'Fraction' Of Canada 150 Tulips Not Turning Out As Expected, Home Hardware Says

Tulips with white and red petals are blooming right across Canada, but in a fraction of cases, the flowers developed to mark the county's 150th birthday are coming up orange, or yellow and red, or not at all.

Home Hardware Stores Limited, which sold four million bulbs from September to mid-October last year, said it has received nearly 180 complaints about the tulips in Canada.
