FOSTORIA — Mennel Milling Co. will buy General Mills’ bakery mix and packaging plant in Martel, Mennel President D. Ford Mennel said Thursday.
The deal is expected to close before Nov. 1, pending negotiations with the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union and Local 57, Mennel said.
Headquartered in Fostoria, Mennel Milling mills wheat into flour for a variety of customers.
