FloraHolland Import Handling Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg were recently certified with the MPS-Packers certificate. During the FloraHolland Trade Fair Aalsmeer, Ronald van den Breevaart from MPS presented the certificate to FloraHollands international handling departments for flowers and plants at the FloraHolland Import Handling stand.
MPS (Milieu Programma Sierteelt) awards MPS-Packers certificates to ornamental flowers and plants handling companies which meet the requirements in the areas of sustainability, safety, the environment, and working conditions. Certification by MPS-Packers is based on the high standards of the British retail sector, among others.
FloraHolland Import Handling complies with the strict requirements of the quality management system. Thanks to the MPS-Packers certificate, existing and future customers can trust that Import Handling performs its tasks in a streamlined and efficient manner. MPS-Packers stands for quality, reliability, transparency, and sustainability throughout the entire chain. This makes it possible to inform and advise suppliers based on a supplier analysis. This increasing professionalism helps to bring growers into an optimal sales position, and FloraHolland Import Handling has its own role to play in this, Van den Breevaart concludes.
