Increased customer demand is prompting O-AT-KA Milk Products Cooperative Inc. to consider a major expansion of its Batavia plant.
Sources have confirmed the company is working with the Genesee County Economic Development Center on a proposed $10.25 million expansion that will see O-AT-KA add 205,000-square-feet of warehouse space to its plant. The expansion could see O-AT-KA add 21 new jobs to its 334-person workforce.
O-AT-KA is one of Genesee County’s largest manufacturers and employers.
