SAN ANTONIO, TX – More than 150 dietitians and nutrition professionals gathered Sunday, October 25, for Healthy Family Project’s annual Trivia Night during the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo™ (FNCE®) in San Antonio.

Returning for his second year as emcee, registered dietitian and nutrition expert Tony Castillo brought energy and plenty of friendly competition to the evening. Trivia questions put attendees’ nutrition knowledge to the test while introducing them to the products, resources and stories behind Healthy Family Project’s brand partners.

“Healthy Family Project brings people together in a way that feels more like a family reunion than just another conference event,” said Tony Castillo, registered dietitian and emcee of the event. “What makes it special is that all dietitians are welcome, from those in the media spotlight to those making an impact through grassroots work. It gives everyone a chance to connect, learn from one another and build genuine friendships.”

Guests also enjoyed a chef-designed menu featuring partner products throughout the evening, creating an opportunity to experience the brands beyond the trivia questions and connect directly with company representatives.

Event partners included National Honey Board, Northwest Cherries, Shuman Farms RealSweet® Onions, USA Pears and ¡Yo Quiero! Brands.

“Trivia Night has become one of our favorite ways to bring our dietitian community and brand partners together during FNCE,” said Amanda Keefer, Vice President at Healthy Family Project. “There is such great energy in the room. Dietitians get to discover brands and products in a fun, memorable way, while our partners have the opportunity to build genuine relationships with professionals who are helping families make food choices every day.”

Partner representatives took the mic, giving attendees an opportunity to hear directly from the companies about their products, nutrition benefits and commitment to helping families make healthier choices.

The evening wrapped up with prizes and a grand prize raffle for a complimentary FNCE® 2027 registration, continuing Healthy Family Project’s commitment to supporting and engaging the dietitian community beyond the event.
