Sprouts Farmers Market Opens 500th Store in Houston

Sprouts Farmers Market opened a new store in The Woodlands, Texas, on the north side of Houston, in Spring, Texas. A ribbon-cutting was September 12. The Woodlands store is Sprouts Farmers Market’s 500th location across 25 states, marking a notable milestone for the retailer.

To kick off the grand opening weekend, Sprouts is hosting a series of onsite activities.  

A variety of activities celebrated the grand opening offering fun for the family including the first 200 shoppers receiving free reusable totes. Others received a free long stem rose courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral. Inside the store, shoppers can sample products from Sprouts.    

Sprouts Farmers Market is invested in serving the communities where it operates and works with local and regional farmers such as J&B Farms and Little Bear Produce to source local produce. Through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program this store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but remain perfectly edible and nutrient rich to the Houston Food Bank.
