Orlando, FL – The Colombia Avocado Board (CAB) is looking forward to reconnecting with foodservice professionals from across the industry at the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) Foodservice Conference, taking place July 23-24 in Monterey, California. CAB invites attendees to visit Booth #807 to learn more about the advantages of sourcing Avocados From Colombia and to explore a new suite of foodservice resources designed to help operators, distributors and menu developers bring fresh flavor, dependable supply, and year-round versatility to their avocado programs.

The IFPA Foodservice Conference is one of the premiere networking events that bring together fresh produce suppliers and foodservice decision-makers to spark innovative ideas, build relationships, and drive business growth. For CAB, the event is an opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships while introducing new customers to Colombia’s premium Hass avocados.

“This conference is one of our favorite annual gatherings because it brings people together who are passionate about fresh produce and committed to incorporating nutritious options in the foodservice category,” said Manuel Michel, managing director of the Colombia Avocado Board. “We always look forward to the conversations that happen on the show floor, whether we’re reconnecting with longtime partners or meeting someone for the first time. Those relationships are what continue to move our industry forward.”

At this year’s event, CAB will sponsor the networking reception on the evening of July 23 at the Custom House Plaza in the Monterey State Historic Park, serving a special avocado dish. CAB will also be launching a new webpage dedicated to foodservice professionals to support chefs, operators, distributors, and foodservice buyers. The webpage will provide practical information on Colombia avocados as a sourcing destination and how they can support or enhance current category programs and menu goals. The new landing page also includes downloadable handling and storage guidance, nutrition information, along with promotional and educational assets to help operators incorporate Avocados From Colombia into foodservice programs.

“As foodservice continues to evolve, we want to be more than a supplier, we want to be a partner,” Michel added. “Today’s consumers are looking for fresh, flavorful ingredients in their daily meals and foodservice operators need reliable sourcing partners that can consistently deliver on those expectations. Avocados From Colombia, with our year-round supply, varied sizing and short-term opportunities provide the consistency, flexibility, and dependable quality operators need to create exceptional menu offerings and meeting evolving customer demand.

CAB encourages conference attendees to stop by Booth #807 to meet the team, try some delicious avocado appetizers and discuss opportunities for incorporating Avocados From Colombia into their operations.
