Meal-kit company Marley Spoon has entered retail with a partnership with ShopRite.

The move marks the first time Marley Spoon, known for its direct to consumer business, has worked with a supermarket retailer, according to a news release.

The brand recently launched its Balance by Marley Spoon prepared meals in every ShopRite location across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, and Delaware.

“The addition marks a significant expansion beyond e-commerce and into the refrigerated prepared foods aisle,” according to the release.

The rollout includes four ready-to-eat Stock-keeping units (SKUs):

  • Creamy Tuscan Style Chicken
  • Honey Bourbon Glazed Meatloaf
  • Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork Loin
  • Grilled Chicken Bacon Mac & Cheese

The line features fully cooked, dietitian-developed prepared meals that deliver balanced eating without the hassle of cooking. Ready in minutes, the prepared meals are designed for busy workdays, quick lunches, and easy dinners, offering a convenient, nutritious solution.

The move marks a strategic next step for Marley Spoon as it expands beyond DTC, meeting shoppers where they already buy their groceries.

Each SKU has a suggested pricing of $7.99.
