Asda Offers Shetland Mussels in New Premium Product

Mussels from the isles feature in a new premium product-line launched by a major supermarket chain.

Asda has highlighted rope-grown mussels – certified to Marine Stewardship Council standard for the last 14 years – from Shetland as well as around the Scottish mainland.

It comes after consumer research buy the Scottish Shellfish showed barriers preventing shoppers from buying more seafood and the potential levers to them purchasing more.
