Murray’s Cave Aged Original Stockinghall Cheddar is a uniquely Murray’s creation in collaboration with Old Chatham Creamery. In upstate NY, the wheels are created following Murray’s recipe and then travel to our New York City caves, where the affinage team bandages them in cloth and ages them for one year in New York City. The resulting flavors combine meaty bacon and sour cream flavors with surprising hints of pineapple. Stockinghall Cheddar has won many awards in the past several years including “Best in Show” at the American Cheese Society.

Murray’s sells this cheese at their flagship NYC stores, online nationwide, and at their Murray’s in Kroger cheese counters around the country.

Since 2004, Murray’s affinage team has operated state-of-the-art cheese caves in New York City where they age and ripen cheeses from around the world and create their own unique line of Murray’s Cave Aged cheeses.
