Champlain Seafood is proud to announce the acquisition of BA Richard, a well-established lobster processor based in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, New Brunswick.

With roots tracing back to the late 1800s, BA Richard has been a cornerstone of the local seafood industry, operated by four generations of the Richard family. Over the past 30 years, the company has maintained a strong strategic partnership with Cape Bald Packers. Marcel Richard, former owner, shared:

“When we made the decision to sell, it was essential for us to choose a company that would honor our legacy, values, and business practices. Our partnership with Cape Bald has been a great success, and we’re excited to continue that relationship within the Champlain Seafood group.”
