New smoked half duck, updated boneless smoked duck breast available for foodservice
LEESBURG, Ind. – Maple Leaf Farms is expanding its offering of labor-saving foodservice duck items to include two new smoked duck products, boneless smoked duck breast and smoked half duck. Fully cooked for easy preparation, these products marry sweet cherry smoked wood flavor with rich, juicy duck.
“Our smoked boneless duck breast has long been a popular option for foodservice customers looking to add a versatile, fully cooked duck item to their menu,” said Director of Marketing Olivia Tucker Ruddell. “We are excited to bring its production in house to offer an updated version with superior quality and supply management.”
Maple Leaf Farms updated boneless smoked duck breast is available in cases of six vacuum-sealed packages of double lobed smoked breasts. Cases range in size from 7.5 to 10 lbs. Maple Leaf Farms Smoked Half Duck offers 12 vacuum sealed packages per case with cases ranging in size from 11-14 lbs.
“Our fully cooked roast half duck has been a flagship product for our company for nearly 50 years,” said Ruddell. “We are thrilled to now offer a new smoked option that appeals to barbecue lovers.”
