Hoosier company highlights fellow homegrown food producers

LEESBURG, Ind. – Indiana-based Maple Leaf Farms is celebrating Hoosier culinary delights on its social channels this summer with its Indiana-Made campaign.

“2026 marks 50 years of Maple Leaf Farms fully cooked roast half duck, which won ‘Coolest Thing Made in Indiana’ in 2022,” said Director of Marketing Olivia Tucker Ruddell. “As we celebrate the half-century mark for this flagship product, we thought it would be a great time to also spotlight other Indiana-made food and beverage brands as well as some of our favorite Hoosier dishes—with a duck twist.”

As part of the campaign, Maple Leaf Farms is collaborating with fellow Indiana producers Sun King Brewery and Fair Oaks Farms to highlight the state’s vibrant food and beverage community. The company is also highlighting other aspects of food and fiber production like tomatoes, pork, and turkey.

“Agriculture is a very important industry in Indiana, so we want to share its story as we share delicious duck recipes this summer,” said Ruddell. “Duck may not come to mind when you think about traditional Hoosier dishes like sweet corn, breaded tenderloins, or sugar cream pie, but I’m here to show consumers how it has broad application across an array of dishes.”

Maple Leaf Farms Indiana-Made campaign kicks off in June and will run through the end of August on the company’s social channels.
