Grand Rapids, Michigan – All Fresh GPS, LLC announced today that produce expert Ed Klein has joined its growing team as national sales manager.
Klein brings more than 25 years of experience in fresh produce and packaged foods to his new role with All Fresh GPS, which sells, distributes and merchandises fresh Michigan apples throughout the United States and into the global market. Klein will be responsible for working directly with retail and distribution partners to build consumer-focused apple programs and extending the reach of All Fresh GPS sales.
Building on a successful career in the food industry, Klein has worked extensively with national food brokers, distributors and retailers, including stints with Chiquita and Stouffer’s.

Prior to joining All Fresh GPS, Klein served as sales director for Fresh Express, which became a division of Chiquita in late 2006. Fresh Express specializes in providing packaged, ready-to-eat salads to grocery stores around the country. He began his tenure at Fresh Express as a regional manager focused on the Midwest, then taking responsibility for the organization’s growing defense commissary business before becoming director of sales.
Klein also worked as retail service broker for Acosta, which was formerly PMI Eisenhart. During his five years at Acosta, he worked extensively developing successful promotions and pricing programs designed to add new retailers and distributors while increasing existing customer sales.
Prior to Acosta, he served as account manager for Stouffer’s, one of the nation’s leading makers of frozen and prepared foods and now owned by Nestle, a global company focused on nutrition, health and wellness.
Klein makes his home in Chicago. He holds a bachelor of arts in marketing from Northern Illinois University.
